 Like the old saying goes, it you don’t have it you can’t put it on. So for all you fisherman out there with sensitive skin like me put some sun block in your tackle box. I managed to get out of bed early today to make it to Crawling Valley before someone else was sitting in my “honey hole” and when I got there at 7:30 AM I was pleasantly surprised that I had it all to myself. So I proceeded to set up shop for the day and catch myself some big fat fish. Hooked up the Pickerel rig and baited up with some frozen minnows and I was fishing. It took about 40 minutes to get a bite and when I finally did, I got too antsy and missed him. The first four fish I lost out on, as I was too anxious to set the hook.
