Well it was an excellent weekend of fishing for me and my friends. My buddy Kevin and I went out to the Lower Kananaskis Lake to fish for the big Bull Trout that live here. We could have picked a better day for it as the weather was hot and sunny all day long. It only takes an hour and a half to get to the Lower Lake and the drive is absolutely worth it. The Lower Kananaskis Lake is located rite in the Rocky Mountains and is one of the most beautiful lakes around the Calgary area. My Co-worker Russ has a cabin rite on the lake and kindly offered to take me out on his boat for some Rainbow on the Upper Lake. We got to the visitor information centre and I called Russ on the phone and there was no answer so we proceeded to go to the lake and start fishing.
