Your very welcome Andrew, it took me a long time and many attempts to catch my first Bow River trout. I remember changing hook after hook and nothing !!!! Sometimes it is better to hire a guide and see what the guide is using and where he is using it!

I hope you hooked into some serious today my friend and those Rapala's were working for you.

Thanks for the comment and I look forward to fishing with you again soon.

Hey Sebastian, glad to hear those hooks are working good for you. Trying new lures every time you go out makes you a more versatile fisherman. Another one of my favorite fishing spots is at the 22X bridge. I park on the Mackenzie Meadows golf course side of the river and walk just a little upstream of the bridge. There is a good hole there and usually I catch a handful of trout at that spot. Policeman's flats is also a good spot in the winter as its deep and slow with trout hanging in that area all winter.

Thanks for the comment and the well wishes,

Hi Mike, I've been having a great time fishing down at Southland Dog Park the past few weeks and I've had lots of fish, so I would like to thank you for recomending the spot. Also I went to the tackle shop and pick up a OGMD rapala and several others and I was wondering if you happen to know another hole in Calgary where I might be able to try them out this weekend.

Thanks.
keep on fishing and blogging.

Thanks Lizzy, great Blog you have going. Nice to see another woman take up this great spot of fishing. For me, there is nothing like a large trout screaming from the end of my fishing line.

Hope to read more of your Blog posts really soon. Keep those great pictures coming.
