Awesome Andrew, sounds like I left a little to soon. I would have liked to see you reel in that rainbow. My stomach was telling me to get some lunch. You will soon know instintivly how to decide which lure is going to work best when you fish for trout.

I look forward to hooking into those Lakers with you, its all about the monsters.

hey man,just letting you know that the day started slow but increased big time, i hooked on to a five pound rainy, caught four today landed two . the other two guys caught 4 between them, we were trying the cranks, which were working, slowly at first then as we made our way back to our vehicles, i switched over to a mepps(brown trout )pattern and whamo, holy smokes, its like you are always telling me, you have to try multiple lures, cranks, and spinners. you just never know what is going to work one week to the next….so thanks bud, it was really good getting out, and thanks to your advice it makes it just a little easier each time i head out, can’t wait for the snow to fly and i will take you in to my 5 pound laker lunk spot. talk to you soon,,,andrew

Ohhh WOW man that is so cool, that’s why I started this Blog Adrian, so people like me could experience what it feels like to reel in a monster Brown or rainbow trout from one of the best fisheries in the world.

Hey Mike , so first of all i want to thank you for all your awesome tips that have lead me to catching my dream fish! Heres my story.
So i’ve been fishing for about 3 months and also reading your blog off and on, and its motivated me to catch this fish. I woke up around 6am and was out fishing by 7, it was rainy slighty but i was determined to catch my brown trout. It was like any other day i’ve went fishing until i caught my 24″ brown trout! WOW holy cow was i excited !!! I was so amazed and happy so once i came home and calmed down a little i decied that i should write to you and let you know how helpful and amazing your blog is. Thank you i probably couldnt have caught my fish without your help. Email me so i can send you a picture.
