It was nice to meet you as well Sebastian, very glad to hear the river is producing some nice healthy fish. I am going to head out this Friday for some massive Browns. I have a sweet hole in mind and hopefully it is loaded up with monsters. You were not intruding on us at all Sebastian, you were more than welcome to join us fishing that spot. We were on our way out when you came down river so we figured we would leave that hole for you.
I also hope to see you out again as well, thanks so much for your comment and I hope your fishing year is great also.
Thanks,
~Mike.

It was a great day fishing the bow today Mike, fished for about 2 hours and hooked 10 fish, with 8 to hand. The weather was great, and the river was clearing up. Caught many fat healthy rainbows stocking up for their spawn, along with some browns that are in good shape agian after their spawn. It was cool meeting you fishing at Southland, awhile back, and i hope i didnt intrued on your fishing.
Happy new year to you. And i hope you have a great year of fishing!
Thats all for me tight lines and i hope ill see you out there again soon.

Jacen thanks and welcome, what an awesome looking Brownie I must say. I love winter for big browns. Many of my biggest fish have been caught in the winter time. Glad to hear that the articles we post here are working for you, luck is only a certain percent of the battle, the other is knowledge and understanding where to find fish in all seasons of the year.
Thanks so much for reading our Blog, hope you enjoy some upcoming articles I am going to post here.

Hey. I am an avid reader of the blog and recently headed out to the river with some of your advice in mind and had incredible luck. It was Sunda December 21st and I was fishing in the Bow just north of 22X in Fish Creek Park where the creek flows into the river. I was using an really old Rapala that I inherited from the tackle box of my wifes dad which was collecting dust in the basement. It was a 5 inch spawning brown trout I think. I had to stand on top of some packed ice and snow two feet off the water and cast into the current but I did so and caught two beauties and I was only fishing for an hour. The first was a 22 inch brown that was not that thick but long and beautiful. The second was about 18 inches and really thick and beautiful. I managed to snap a photo of the longer fish. Thanks so much for the advice and I will keep reading. Here is my photo of the fish I caught:
