Brown Trout Fishing With the Robertson Tackle “Green Ghost” Crankbait

Taking the Green Ghost to Brown Town

With fantastic weather in February, I head out to an inner city location in search of the rivers finest Brown Trout specimens. In this video I am using my own lure, the Robertson Tackle Green Ghost. The bright green pattern of this lure is great for deep, overwintering holes like I am fishing here.

The color is ideal for deeper water applications with low light penetration down deep in the hole. The deeper the water, the less light penetration there is, so it is important for me to use a lure with bright colors!

It is also important that the lure has rattling capabilities, which all the lures I sell have. The combination of color, combined with the rattle help me land several fish on my afternoon on the water.

Thank you for watching the video and please like the video and subscribe if you have not already. I will be doing many more YouTube vidoes this season, and sharing those here on the Blog. I appreciate you reading and tuning into the Bow River Blog YouTube channel.

Thank you,
