Gone Fishing- Crawling Valley

Hello to all my fishing friends out there, it’s been a really wet week here in Calgary and the mighty Bow River is very high and fast right now so it’s not fishable right now. But that’s not to say we can not go to other places to fish. That’s the cool thing about fishing, if one lake or river is not producing very many fish or it’s just not fishable at all for whatever reason, you can always go some where that is. Crawling Valley happens to be just that place for me and this Friday and Saturday were no exceptions. Friday I went out alone to see what was happening on the reservoir as I was planning to take my friend Tom out on Saturday. I was able to catch a couple of nice Walleye that were around the 20 inch mark. So with that said I figured I would call Tom and let him know that we were going to fish crawling instead of the Bow.
