Gone Fishing- Lower Kananaskis Lake

Then Kevin and Russ showed up and made their first casts and boom, boom, a double header. I saw the way Kevin’s rod was bent over and I knew he had a monster on the go. He finally managed to play this bad boy out and we pulled it out of the water, it was a whopper Bull measuring approximately 30inches and weighing in at about 10-12 pounds. Kevin looked like a little kid in a candy store.

I gently pulled the hook out of this monsters mouth , snapped a quick picture and Kevin then calmly let him go to fight some other angler another day. What an awesome trip out to the Lower Kananaskis Lake once again folks, this for me is what life is all about. Good solid friends and some BIG old trout. Is does not get any better than that. I will keep you all posted on my next fishing excursion. I think the next stop just might be the Crow’s Nest River.
