I have been getting a few requests lately from the readers of the Bow River Blog to post their pictures of their fine catches. Ron has asked me to share his night time pictures with us here to prove that fishing for trout at night can be very productive. Hello to all my fishing friends around the world. My name is Michael and was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. Hey, nice catch off a night run. Never really even thought of fishing at night for Trout. think I will give it a shot.

Hey Michael, this was a picture sent in by a loyal reader of the Blog. He read a few of my articles I posted and decided he needed to try it for himself. He has since had awesome success fishing for big brown’s during the night.

I also caught my largest Rainbow trout during a night adventure a few years back! It was thirty inches. If you try it use some Rapala minnow imitations, you will have great success.
