Photo Contest Winner

And The Winner Is!

Drum roll please, Ty Vrabel. Ty sent in his photo of a monster Bull Trout caught and released from the Sheep River. What a beautiful fish for the Sheep River. I have fished the Highwood River and caught some dandies in days gone by. I have also fished the Lower Kananaskis Lake and had some monster fish from there also.

I was hoping my first photo contest was going to see more great photos of some local fish but only one photo was entered into the contest. Therefore Ty receives six swim baits from Japan. These bad boy fishing lures will work well on any stream or lake here in Alberta. They look very realistic and I know they will catch Ty a large Trout, Walleye or Pike.

Thanks to Ty for entering the Bow River Blog’s very first photo and hopefully he will enjoy his new fishing lures.

Hi Dwayne, you need to navigate into the archives as both the photo and the article have now been bumped into the archives. I have added more posts in the last few months so click “Photo Contest’s” in the Catagories section and you will find the photo there.

I put the contest up for a month and Ty was the only one to enter. So I sent him six swim baits from Japan as the prize for his photo.
